  • We are always looking for stellar interns to help make our practice great while we provide a space for you to grow your skills as an emerging clinician! Click each tab below to screen yourself to see if your program works with what we offer as an agency

  • Because we do a lot of work with trauma and more sensitive treatment goals, our interns need to be able to commit to at least 9 months with us. If your program expectations are below that timeline, feel free to complete the application. Just know that priority will go to longer commitments.

  • We currently an LPC and a LISAC available for clinical supervision of interns. We do not have any LCSWs or LMFTs on staff.

    We have weekly supervision on Tuesday afternoons. These are mandatory for your program and the best place for you to learn.

  • This is an area of expertise for all of us at Goodworks. It is not anyone’s SOLE area of expertise, though. All of us see clients who do not want biblical tenants incorporated into therapy and have clinical skills that are separate from this specialty. If you want to learn from a staff who can offer a biblical worldview integration as well as best practices like DBT, EMDR, CBT, IFS, and MI, we might be the place for you. If you do not hold this worldview, you are still welcome to apply! We might not be the best fit, though, since this is much of our focus.

  • Most internships will expect you to earn between 6 and 10 hours of direct service each week. If we have more work than we can staff, we may offer you direct hours past your internship. Those hours would be paid at a rate discussed between you and the leadership depending on the task. While it is not guaranteed, the vast majority of our interns receive these sorts of opportunities.

  • Almost all of our interns work with a group home where the clients are underserved as a way to serve and love the most vulnerable and practice your skills with some difficult cases. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to have a small caseload of clients that you will see in office. We try our best to give a mix of kids, adults, and couples.
